🚨 Executive Leadership Opportunity | Chief Financial & Operating Officer (CFOO) 🚨

Location: Baltimore, MD (hybrid)
Compensation: $140-160k + employer paid benefits
Must be a US citizen, must be local to Baltimore or DC, relocation candidates not considered
Chief Financial & Operating Officer (CFOO): This is a unique opportunity to combine the strategic responsibilities of a CFO with the operational influence of a COO. You'll work directly with the CEO and Board of Directors to drive financial performance, strengthen operations, implement scalable systems, and position the organization for long-term success.
What You'll Do
✔️ Lead financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and long-term planning
✔️ Oversee accounting, audits, grants (fed & state), compliance, treasury, and risk management
✔️ Present financial performance and strategic recommendations to ELT and the Board
✔️ Drive operational excellence across finance, HR, technology, and administrative functions
✔️ Lead process improvements, automation initiatives, and systems implementations
✔️ Build scalable infrastructure that supports organizational growth and sustainability
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership
- Executive experience as a CFO, VP Finance, Controller, Director of Finance, or similar
- Strong nonprofit accounting, fund accounting, and federal grant management experience
- Experience leading audits, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management
- Proven success implementing ERP systems, improving processes, and leading organizational change
- CPA strongly preferred; MBA is a plus
