Business Operations & Supply Chain Intern | 0-6months of experience | WFH
Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive Vendor Sourcing & Logistics Executive with 3–6 months of relevant experience to support our operations team. This role involves identifying and coordinating with new vendors, managing vendor communications, and assisting with logistics tasks to ensure smooth order movement and timely deliveries.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Research, identify, and onboard new vendors as per product or service requirements
- Collect and compare vendor quotations and negotiate pricing
- Maintain and update the vendor database with accurate information
- Coordinate with vendors for order placement, confirmation, and updates
- Assist with basic logistics tasks such as tracking shipments, arranging transport, and follow-ups for timely delivery
- Ensure all documentation related to vendor sourcing and logistics is maintained properly
- Communicate with internal teams for order status, delivery updates, and any required clarifications
- Support in preparing simple reports related to vendor performance and logistics tracking
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field
- 3–6 months of experience in vendor sourcing/procurement/logistics coordination (internship or job)
- Basic understanding of vendor management and supply chain processes
- Good negotiation, follow-up, and communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word)
- Detail-oriented and proactive with strong coordination skills
