Role Description The Sr. Engineer – CPQ Support is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Bengaluru Area, focused on supporting Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ) tools and processes for FTC Solar’s global commercial teams. This role involves providing technical and functional support for CPQ configurations, resolving user issues, and ensuring accurate representation of products, pricing, and discounts within the system. The Sr. Engineer will collaborate with sales, engineering, operations, and IT to analyze requirements, implement changes, test updates, and maintain documentation related to CPQ workflows. Daily activities include troubleshooting CPQ-related problems, coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders, managing support tickets, and helping train end users on best practices. The position contributes directly to quote accuracy, cycle-time reduction, and overall sales efficiency in a dynamic renewable energy environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose, analyze, and resolve CPQ-related issues efficiently.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Support and Customer Service skills to assist internal stakeholders and end users in a clear, responsive, and professional manner.
- Candidates should possess working knowledge of Operating Systems and enterprise software environments to support CPQ tools and integrations.
- Experience with CPQ platforms (e.g., Salesforce CPQ or similar), CRM systems, or commercial quoting tools is highly beneficial.
- Relevant experience in solar, renewable energy, or industrial engineering domains is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail in complex technical and commercial configurations.
- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Bengaluru Area and collaborate effectively with global cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
