About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the finance function of a growing international group and play a key role in its next stage of expansion and potential public listing.
The CFO will oversee the Group's overall financial strategy, reporting, governance and capital planning, while working closely with the Board of Directors, investors and regional management teams. The successful candidate will also lead the Group through its IPO preparation and execution, building a scalable finance organization as the business continues to grow.
This is a highly strategic and hands-on leadership role, ideal for a senior finance executive with experience in US- or Hong Kong-listed companies, strong investor and Board exposure, and proven experience managing complex, multi-market businesses. Experience in the beverage, FMCG or consumer products industry is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Group-wide finance function, covering financial planning, reporting, accounting, treasury, tax, controls and governance.
- Own the Group's financial strategy and provide strategic financial advice to the Board, investors and senior management.
- Prepare and present regular financial and management reports to the Board and investors, ensuring clear visibility of business performance and key financial metrics.
- Oversee financial reporting across multiple regions and subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the Group's IPO readiness and listing preparation, including financial reporting, internal controls, governance, audit readiness and coordination with external advisors.
- Work closely with auditors, legal counsel, investment banks, accounting firms and other professional advisors throughout the listing process.
- Develop and implement robust financial controls, policies and processes to support the Group's continued international expansion.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and long-term financial planning.
- Manage and develop the Group finance team, currently with 1–2 regional finance/reporting team members, with the opportunity to build a larger organization as the Group scales.
- Support strategic initiatives including M&A, fundraising, corporate restructuring and cross-border expansion, where required.
- Ensure strong financial governance and risk management across the Group.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline; professional accounting qualification (e.g. CPA, ACCA, CA) is preferred.
- 15+ years of relevant finance experience, with significant experience in senior finance leadership roles.
- Proven experience working for or with US-listed or Hong Kong-listed companies is highly preferred.
- Strong experience with Board-level and investor reporting, including presenting financial performance, forecasts and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience leading or significantly contributing to an IPO / public listing process.
- Strong understanding of group-level financial management, consolidation, financial controls and corporate governance.
- Experience managing finance functions across multiple countries / regions.
- Prior experience in the beverage, FMCG, food & beverage, consumer products or other consumer-facing industries is highly preferred, with direct beverage industry experience being a strong advantage.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business and strategic insights.
- Proven leadership experience and the ability to build and scale a finance organization.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the maturity to work directly with the Board, investors and external advisors.
- Chinese language proficiency is highly preferred, particularly for communication with Chinese-speaking stakeholders and investors.
- Willingness to be based in Singapore, Hong Kong or Europe, with international travel as required.
Preferred Profile
The ideal candidate would be a strategic, commercially minded CFO / Finance Director who combines strong technical finance expertise with capital markets, investor-facing and international business experience.
The candidate should ideally have:
- Experience in a US-listed or Hong Kong-listed company.
- Proven IPO / listing experience and familiarity with public-company requirements.
- Strong Board and investor management experience.
- Experience overseeing multi-country / multi-entity finance operations.
- Experience in the beverage industry, ideally with an international beverage, FMCG or consumer brand.
- Experience building and scaling finance teams in a high-growth environment.
- Strong Chinese and English communication skills.
