Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our organization’s financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions. Duties
- Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with the organization’s goals, fostering sustainable growth and operational efficiency.
- Lead the preparation of accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), and IAS (International Accounting Standards).
- Oversee corporate accounting functions, including revenue management, cost control, expense management, and payroll management.
- Manage risk analysis processes to identify potential financial threats and implement mitigation strategies in compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) and other regulatory standards.
- Direct treasury activities such as cash flow management, banking relationships, investment strategies, and liquidity planning to optimize financial resources.
- Spearhead mergers & acquisitions initiatives by conducting market analysis, valuation assessments, due diligence, and integration planning.
- Develop robust financial projection models to support strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and fundraising efforts for business development.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory reporting requirements and maintain compliance with industry-specific financial regulations including ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition), COSO (Committee of Sponsoring Organizations), and other relevant standards.
- Lead the finance team by providing mentorship, fostering collaboration, and promoting continuous improvement in financial processes.
Skills
- Extensive experience in finance directorship roles with strong leadership capabilities in senior management settings.
- Deep understanding of corporate finance principles including profit & loss analysis, cost management, budgeting, and expense control.
- Proven expertise in financial software systems such as SAP, Oracle Financials or similar platforms; proficiency in financial modeling tools is essential.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards including GAAP, IFRS, IAS; ability to interpret complex financial statements accurately.
- Demonstrated success in risk management practices—identifying vulnerabilities and implementing effective controls.
- Skilled in strategic planning and business analysis to inform decision-making at the executive level.
- Excellent negotiation skills for managing vendor relationships and facilitating mergers & acquisitions negotiations.
- Experience managing compliance with SOX regulations as well as governmental accounting standards for nonprofit or public sector organizations if applicable.
- Ability to develop comprehensive financial report writing that clearly communicates insights to stakeholders at all levels.
- Exceptional analytical skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving within fast-changing environments.

Pay: $250.00 - $350.00 per hour
