Our client is a fast-growing Singapore-headquartered AI infrastructure company building and operating large-scale GPU computing and next-generation data center infrastructure across Asia Pacific.
As the business enters its next phase of regional expansion, the company is looking for a Finance Director / CFO to partner closely with the CEO and lead fundraising, financing, strategic transactions and the development of a scalable regional finance function.
Job Responsibilities
- Fundraising & Financing — Lead equity/debt financing, strategic investments and other capital solutions, managing relationships with banks, PE/VC funds, family offices and strategic investors.
- Capital Markets & IPO Readiness — Drive financial modelling, valuation, investor materials, due diligence and pre-IPO/IPO readiness as the business scales.
- M&A & Strategic Investments — Lead/support M&A, JVs and strategic investments, covering structuring, valuation, negotiation and transaction execution.
- Strategic Finance & Business Partnering — Partner directly with the CEO and senior management on capital allocation, regional expansion, major projects, investment decisions, budgeting and long-term planning.
- Build & Lead Finance — Oversee accounting, reporting, treasury, cash flow, tax/transfer pricing, controls and governance, while building a scalable regional Finance team and operating model.
Job Requirement
- 8+ years relevant experience across Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, PE, M&A, Strategic Finance and/or senior in-house Finance leadership.
- Strong hands-on track record in fundraising/equity & debt financing, financial modelling, valuation and transaction execution.
- Experience dealing directly with CEOs, Boards, investors, banks, PE/VC funds and professional advisors; IPO/pre-IPO or major capital-markets exposure is highly advantageous.
- Experience within AI, Technology, Data Centers, Digital Infrastructure, Cloud or other capital-intensive/high-growth businesses is strongly preferred, ideally with Singapore/SEA cross-border exposure.
- Entrepreneurial 0→1 mentality — commercially strong, hands-on and comfortable building finance processes, systems and teams in a rapidly scaling environment. Fluent English required; Mandarin is advantageous.
