Job Overview
RevOps HubSpot Specialist
Revenue Operations (RevOps) — Specialist Level
Department & Reporting Line
Department: Revenue Operations / GTM Team
Location: Ahmedabad, India — Onsite
Reports to: RevOps Lead
Works with: Business CRM Analyst (Driver on delivery) and the RevOps Strategist / Client Owner (Approver) on every ticket, per the DACI model in the RevOps Delivery Process. Escalates directly and ad hoc to the RevOps Lead when stuck on a technical brief.
Role Summary
We are hiring a RevOps HubSpot Specialist to execute hands-on CRM configuration and GTM process builds for York IE's client engagements. This role is the core technical Contributor in the RevOps Delivery Process — building against well-defined Jira stories across HubSpot's core hubs, self-certifying QA, and growing into ownership of increasingly complex, multi-hub builds under the guidance of a RevOps Lead.
Key Responsibilities
HubSpot CRM Configuration & Build
- Configure and administer core HubSpot modules — Sales Hub and Marketing Hub as the primary scope, with growing, guided exposure to Service Hub, Operations Hub, and CMS Hub.
- Build workflows, sequences, lead scoring, list segmentation, pipelines, and property/field configuration against documented acceptance criteria.
- Set up lead routing rules, lifecycle-stage automation, and standard Marketing → Sales → Customer Success handoff logic.
- Support HubSpot-to-Salesforce (or another adjacent tool) field mapping and sync troubleshooting under guidance from the Lead or a senior Specialist.
GTM Execution Support
- Execute campaign tracking (UTMs), nurture flow builds, and sequence design per Marketing/Sales requirements.
- Assist with waterfall enrichment logic and match-rate troubleshooting in coordination with data/enrichment tools (Clay, Apollo.io, ZoomInfo, Clearbit).
- Support first-touch/last-touch attribution reporting and funnel conversion tracking.
Reporting & Analytics
- Build standard HubSpot reports and dashboards tracking pipeline, campaign performance, and activity metrics.
- Flag data-quality issues (duplicates, missing fields, broken syncs) to the Business CRM Analyst or RevOps Lead promptly.
Delivery Process (Contributor per DACI)
- Configure/build each assigned story in HubSpot against acceptance criteria set by the Business CRM Analyst.
- Complete the Self-QA Checklist — functional test, data validation, regression check, access/permissions check, evidence attached — before moving a story to Ready for UAT.
- Give the standing Delivery & Build Update on weekly client calls: what was configured, what passed Self-QA, what's blocked.
- Escalate directly and promptly to the RevOps Lead when stuck on a technical brief or needing core technical guidance — an ad hoc coaching step, not a formal workflow stage.
Data Governance & Quality
- Follow the deduplication, normalization, and data hygiene standards set for the account.
- Maintain clean documentation and evidence trails on every ticket per the Self-QA standard.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of hands-on RevOps, Sales Ops, Marketing Ops, or CRM Admin experience, with solid working expertise in HubSpot (Sales Hub and Marketing Hub required; exposure to Service Hub, Operations Hub, or CMS Hub is a strong plus).
- Comfortable independently building workflows, sequences, lead scoring, and reporting on well-scoped tickets.
- Basic familiarity with Salesforce or another secondary CRM (Zoho) is a plus.
- Exposure to GTM data/enrichment tools (Clay, Apollo.io, ZoomInfo, Clearbit) is helpful but not required.
- Comfort working in a Jira/DACI-based delivery model — clear on when to build independently versus when to escalate.
- Solid communication skills; comfortable giving a live build update on client calls.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- HubSpot certifications (Sales Hub Implementation, Marketing Hub Implementation, or RevOps).
- Experience in a B2B SaaS environment.
- Exposure to Gong, Outreach, Salesloft, or Segment.
- Basic reporting/BI tool familiarity (Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
Success Metrics / What Good Looks Like in the First 90 Days
- Completes assigned stories with Self-QA evidence passing UAT on first review most of the time.
- Comfortable running the Delivery & Build Update on weekly client calls without the Lead needing to be present.
- Has used the ad hoc escalation path to the RevOps Lead at least once, resolving a technical blocker without it becoming a client-facing risk.
- Shows growing independence on a second HubSpot hub beyond the core Sales/Marketing scope.
Soft Skills / Competencies
- Detail-oriented executor: follows acceptance criteria and QA standards precisely.
- Proactive communicator: flags blockers early rather than at UAT.
- Growth mindset: actively building toward multi-hub HubSpot depth.
- Reliable ownership of assigned tickets from build through clean handoff.
Compensation & Benefits
- A clear path to Sr. RevOps HubSpot Specialist and, eventually, RevOps Lead.
- Structured mentorship from a RevOps Lead and technical exposure across varied clients.
- Collaborative, high-performing RevOps delivery team.
This role is for builders growing their HubSpot depth!
