We are partnering with a $400M PE-owned manufacturing company to find a new Director of Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) to join their growing, dynamic team. This leader will be responsible for a team of 10 direct reports while coordinating with sales, production, and finance teams to align sales forecasts with production schedules and inventory levels.
This is a pivotal role within the organization analyzing data to improve accuracy and efficiency, and leading a team responsible for planning and continuously improving processes.
Key Requirements:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in S&OP, supply chain management or operations in the manufacturing industry
- Designed, implemented S&OP processes and tracked performance
- Proven track record of leading and developing teams
- Ability to define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the effectiveness of the S&OP process and drive continuous improvement
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Forecasting and Demand planning
- Experience implementing strategies to optimize inventory levels and efficiencies
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations or related field
