The Opportunity
With offices both globally and across Australia, this industry leading organisation has been driving continued success for over 40 years. Led by an exceptional executive team and recognised for its collaborative culture, the business continues to experience strong growth while investing heavily in its people. They are currently seeking a proactive and ambitious Executive Assistant to support the Chief Financial Officer and Director of Operations. This is far more than a traditional EA role. You'll become a trusted business partner, balancing strategic Board coordination, executive support, stakeholder management and business improvement initiatives. Working closely with both executives in a collaborative office environment, you'll have the opportunity to influence the way they operate while building your own career within a business known for promoting from within.
Based in the Sydney office five days a week, this role is ideal for someone looking to take the next step in their EA career, thrive in a fast moving environment and enjoy genuine long term development opportunities.
The Responsibility
This role incorporates all of your traditional EA support, with a strong events emphasis. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Providing high level Executive Assistant support to two senior Directors with differing support requirements;
- Managing complex and ever changing diaries, inboxes and meeting schedules;
- Preparing and coordinating confidential Board meetings - board papers, presentations, reports and action items with exceptional attention to detail;
- Assisting with leadership meetings, month end reporting and executive documentation;
- Supporting business projects, process improvements and wider executive initiatives;
- Coordinating limited domestic and international travel as required; and
- Building strong relationships across the business while anticipating needs and identifying opportunities to improve executive workflows.
The Expertise
To be considered for this position, you will be an intelligent, commercially minded and highly organised Executive Assistant who enjoys working at pace and thrives on juggling competing priorities. You are proactive by nature, resilient under pressure and confident building relationships with senior stakeholders across the business.
Previous experience supporting senior executives is essential, with strong PowerPoint, presentation formatting and document preparation skills highly regarded. Exposure to Board preparation, fast paced commercial environments or sales focused organisations will set you apart, however they are equally open to someone stepping into their first C-suite Executive Assistant role if they can demonstrate the capability, ambition and emotional intelligence to succeed.
Above all, they are looking for someone who thinks independently, anticipates needs before being asked, maintains absolute confidentiality and is excited by the opportunity to become a genuine business partner rather than simply providing administrative support.
