Position Summary:
The Chief Sales Officer (CSO) will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s sales strategy, managing the sales team, and driving revenue growth. This executive will work closely with the CEO and leadership team to identify new market opportunities, enhance sales operations, and build scalable processes to support continued expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive growth across residential, commercial, and specialty roofing services.
- Establish annual revenue targets, pricing strategies, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success.
- Identify new revenue streams, market trends, and customer segments to expand the business.
- Implement data-driven decision-making, leveraging CRM analytics and market insights.
Team Development & Performance Management
- Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Implement sales training programs to enhance product knowledge, negotiation skills, and customer relationship management.
- Develop and oversee sales compensation plans that incentivize top performance.
Business Development & Market Expansion
- Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with contractors, property managers, builders, and commercial clients.
- Drive business development initiatives, including networking, outreach, and participation in industry events.
- Optimize the company’s lead generation and sales funnel to increase conversion rates.
Operational Excellence & Process Optimization
- Implement and oversee CRM and sales tracking systems to ensure accurate forecasting and pipeline management.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to align sales strategies with branding and service delivery.
- Develop and refine customer engagement strategies to improve client retention and referrals.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 10+ years of sales leadership experience in the roofing, construction, or home services industry.
- Proven track record of scaling sales teams and exceeding revenue targets in a high-growth environment.
- Strong knowledge of roofing products, services, and industry trends.
- Hands-on experience with CRM platforms, sales analytics, and forecasting tools.
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders.
