Job Summary:
The Head of Sales Operations is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the entire sales support ecosystem, including sales finance, operations, contract management, enablement, pre-sales, and content marketing. This role ensures smooth cross-functional collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and operational efficiency to support revenue growth and business success.
Key Responsibilities:1. Sales Operations & Strategy
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance sales productivity and efficiency.
- Manage CRM systems, sales processes, and performance analytics to drive continuous improvement.
- Align operations with company-wide revenue goals and strategic initiatives.
2. Sales Finance & Revenue Management
- Oversee revenue forecasting, pricing strategies, and sales financial planning.
- Ensure accuracy in accounts receivable processes, revenue tracking, and financial compliance.
- Work closely with finance teams to optimize sales budget allocations and profitability.
3. Contract & Compliance Management
- Supervise quote management, contract negotiations, and deal approvals.
- Ensure compliance with legal, financial, and regulatory policies in all sales agreements.
- Establish best practices for contract lifecycle management.
4. Bid & Proposal Management
- Oversee the preparation and execution of competitive bids and tender submissions.
- Develop frameworks for proposal efficiency, documentation, and competitive positioning.
5. Sales Enablement & Content Strategy
- Equip sales teams with the necessary training, tools, and resources to improve performance.
- Manage the development of content marketing assets, including sales collateral, case studies, and thought leadership materials.
6. Pre-Sales & Technical Solutions Leadership
- Supervise pre-sales and technical solution teams to ensure seamless product demonstrations and customer engagement.
- Align sales and technical strategies to improve win rates in competitive deals.
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership
- Act as a bridge between Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Customer Success teams.
- Leverage data analytics to provide insights and recommendations for sales performance improvement.
- Mentor and develop team members to foster a high-performance culture.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Sales, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Finance, Sales Enablement, or Revenue Management.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and business intelligence tools.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in forecasting, process optimization, and revenue tracking.
- Ability to lead diverse teams, including pre-sales engineers, finance specialists, and marketing professionals.
- Proven ability to drive operational efficiency in a scalable, high-growth environment.
