The Revenue Operations Analyst role is a trusted partner to our Sales and Marketing teams supporting forecasting, sales process including opportunity management and quoting, reporting, data insights, CRM (Salesforce) hygiene, special projects for process improvement and automation. To be successful in this role, you bring a well-rounded skillset of technical (systems, process and data), business and people acumen.
You will work regularly in Salesforce (and adjacent tools) and act as a subject-matter expert to guide our Sales, BDR and Marketing teams in effective use of CRM. You guide account and opportunity management through account planning, process improvement, and training to various teams who use Salesforce. You partner closely with our global GTM teams (Sales, BDRs, Enablement, Marketing) and work cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, IT, Solution Engineers, Customer Success and Product.
How You Will Make an Impact:
- CRM Dashboard/Report Building and Maintenance: Collaborate with Sales and other teams to create, update and maintain reports and dashboards in Salesforce that help in gaining visibility to their opportunities, accounts, activity for crucial insights, actions, and progression through their sales cycle.
- CRM Accuracy Maintenance: Review opportunities monthly for forecast accuracy, proper categorization by deal type and sales team, ownership updates for account transfers, close date accuracy, stage and close date cleanliness.
- Data Analysis: Pull various data points for analysis and insights as required by the business. Present data and summary reports for leadership at various levels and different teams.
- Training: Provide refreshers and training to new and existing members within Sales.
- SME: Being the SME on CRM process, best practices, and advising on best way to approach and tackle various issues. Remain up to date on Salesforce training and product releases as it relates to Revenue Operations work.
- Annual Planning: Collaborate with the various sales teams on account planning, territory realignment, and transfers while coordinating with other teams such as Finance, Solutions Engineers and Customer Success Managers.
- Troubleshooting: Act as an intermediary between Sales and IT logging support tickets or change requests and supporting User Acceptance Testing when required.
What You Will Bring to the Role:
- 3-5 years experience in a Sales/Revenue Operations role working on process streamlining and improvement projects
- SaaS industry experience preferred
- 3+ years experience working with Salesforce (CRM)
- Advanced-level proficiency with Salesforce including building reports and dashboard in Salesforce
- Salesforce Administrator Certificate or completion of courses within that learning path are a strong asset
- Understanding of Sales and marketing processes and metrics
- Advanced Excel reporting abilities
- Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas (such as VLOOKUP & IF Statements), Conditional Formatting, and Pivots
- Experience collaborating and working with different levels of leadership and cross-functionally with teams such as Sales, Finance, and IT
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with all levels of stakeholders and able to present your outputs and anticipate questions and concerns
- Unmatched attention to detail to handle data with accuracy and precision and spot any discrepancies
- Ability to work under pressure - you are able to problem solve, solution and determine fixes quickly, sometimes, under tight deadlines with minimal supervision
- Proactive mindset to anticipate requirements, identify issues, and proactively take the lead, addressing needs ahead of time rather than being reactive to situations
- Skilled at collaborating with other teams to identify opportunities to improve GTM effectiveness
