KennedyPearce's Search team have been retained on this exclusive assignment to recruit a seasoned, high-calibre CFO for one of the world's leading investment businesses based in Central London. This is an incredible, and very rare opportunity to join a well-established and prestigious business as a key member of the senior leadership team.
The role:
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing the full finance function including Statutory Reporting, Management Accounting, Management Reporting, FP&A, Audit as well as overseeing the Fund Finance teams. Experience of Treasury will also be a bonus but this is not essential.
As well as overseeing the team of accountants who run the BAU finance function of the business, you will need to be a seasoned and inspiring leader who can manage, mentor and develop these teams of people.
You will also play a key strategic role in supporting the Managing Partner Team in shaping the direction and evolution of the business. In this you will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills and be able to digest and subsequently deliver succinct and powerful finance information to support commercial decision making.
You will also be tasked with leading on transformation projects from a Finance perspective and constantly looking at ways to improve processes and increase efficiencies.
Skills and Experience required:
- Hold a recognised accountancy qualification
- Have substantial PQE in a senior finance role(s) within the Investment industry
- Understanding of multiple investment sector asset classes
- Managed and developed teams of people
- Extensive experience of managing projects and change management embracing technology
- Excellent communication skills
