Salary Package Range: $256,323 - $280,426 inclusive of superannuation to commensurate with experience.
About the Role
The Deputy CFO is a pivotal role within the Department of Customer Service, providing high-level support in managing the financial aspects of the Department. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial operations, including strategic financial planning, budgeting, financial reporting, and business partnering, while ensuring compliance with regulations.
As a 2IC to the CFO, you will play a key role in decision-making processes related to the Departments finances and collaborate with senior executives to align financial strategies with overall business objectives.
Role Responsibilities

Provide senior finance leadership and oversight to the Director Business Partner team, ensuring alignment on financial advice and actions.

Actively engage with divisions to identify areas requiring finance expertise and embed finance into their activities.

Ensure all divisions are aligned on financial processes and strategies, maintaining a consistent approach across the entire Department.

Shift focus from transactional tasks to setting strategy and vision for the finance function.

Own and manage programs of work, ensuring smooth execution and delivery.

You hold professional qualifications such as CA or CPA.

Familiarity with SAP and TM1 or similar systems.

Proven executive-level finance experience.
