Position: Manager, Sales Operations

Compensation Details:
- Mgr Sales Enablement 19: Salaries typically range from $109,810 to $146,413 annually, based on qualifications and experiences, plus a performance-based incentive.
Location:
- Export Development Canada operates in a hybrid work environment, currently requiring employees to work in the office3 days per week. (subject to change)
- This role can be performed from EDC’s headquarters in Ottawa or from one of our Community Hubs located in Toronto, Mississauga, Montreal, Brossard, Laval, Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, and Vancouver or from one of our Regional Offices located in Quebec City, Edmonton, Windsor, Kitchener, Winnipeg, Regina or Moncton.

Team Overview:
The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing sales processes and systems to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Business Development teams. This role is responsible for managing a team of Sales Operations Associates and Advisors who deliver support to frontline teams, while working closely with cross-functionally across the organization to ensure alignment to the Enterprise strategy. As a Sales Operations leader you will be a key contributor to the development and implementation of strategies to support and improve overall sales operations.
What you will be doing:
- Develop, implement, and optimize sales processes to improve sales efficiency and effectiveness.
- Establishes robust processes in line with business requirements
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the CRM and other sales tools.
- Monitor and analyze metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Leadership:
- Manage team performance in line with delivery standards
- Manages the performance and skill/career development of team to ensure the required capacity and capability to meet organizational needs
- Effectively lead and support team through periods of significant change by fostering a culture of open communication, resilience, and adaptability
- Act as a point of contact for inquiries and issues.
- Work closely cross-functionally to ensure alignment on strategies.
- Stays up to date with industry trends and best practices in sales operations.
- Lead or participate in special projects as needed.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales operations, sales management, or a related role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Eligibility:
