Our client is a national distribution company seeking a Sales Operations Manager who will serve as a part of our Sales Operations team and will focus on supporting the Customer Sales team by executing internal and external initiatives with excellence. The Sales Operations Manager will be accountable for leading and managing a Sales Operations team in achieving/exceeding set KPI's. In addition, the Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for achieving/exceeding KPI's for a specific account. The Sales Operations Manager will report to the VP of Sales Operations.
Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 depending on experience
Location: This is a fully Remote position within the U.S. While you can be located anywhere in the U.S., the role requires availability during standard business hours of 8:30am to 5:30pm Eastern Time. No visa sponsorships available at this time, nor in the foreseeable future.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and develop the Sales Operations team members by providing day-to-day direction and coaching, ensuring team members are leading projects effectively,
- Support national and regional account teams by managing customer communications and requests as needed.
- Lead and execute reset projects for respective accounts, end-to-end, to ensure successful in-store execution.
- Execute new store and remodel activities as needed.
- Complete analysis, develop insights, and present with recommendations to accounts team to support them in customer activities and sales initiatives, driving top and bottom line sales growth.
- Complete analysis for Sales Operations team to provide status and reporting as needed.
- Manage execution of all customer compliance issues (e.g., cost changes/corrections, short pays) and ensure corrections have been implemented within specified timeframes and enforce data integrity.
- Owns the accuracy of customer data and grid information internally and externally.
- Develop strong working relationships with cross-functional leaders and supporting departments, that influence successful customer execution and drive customer compliance.
- Provides individualized and ongoing performance management to ensure efficiency and productivity of all team members.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts across Sales Operations teams.
- Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge and skills.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 4 years of business experience in consumer sales and/or CPG industry.
- Proficiency in sales software and CRM tools.
- Knowledge of distribution and supply chain process.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Ability to identify issues and opportunities a must.
- Excellent in managing multiple projects, working with various cross-functional groups, often at the same time.
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills, in particular with Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
