We are seeking a strategic, hands-on Chief Financial Officer to elevate our financial management and position GPSI for sustained national growth. This is a critical executive leadership role, responsible for building the financial systems, processes, and team needed to support our three core divisions — Design Studio, Construction, and Service — as we expand our reach and impact.
As GPSI scales, this leader will oversee all aspects of financial strategy and operations, from forecasting and capital planning to multi-location reporting and job cost controls. The CFO will work closely with our executive team and division leaders to ensure sound financial stewardship, maximize profitability, and provide the insight necessary to make confident, data-driven decisions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the finance function for all divisions, ensuring alignment of goals, controls, and performance metrics.
- Partner with division leaders to monitor financial health, job costing, and margin performance.
- Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow for each division and the company as a whole.
- Implement and refine systems for job cost tracking, project controls, and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with Operations to optimize resource allocation, labor utilization, and capital investments.
- Provide financial insights for market expansion, partnerships, and capital projects.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls.
- Advise the CEO and leadership team on vision, strategy, and organizational planning.
Qualifications
- Proven financial leadership experience in construction, specialty contracting, design-build, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of both project-based and service contract financial models.
- Demonstrated success in scaling multi-location, multi-division organizations.
- Expertise in revenue forecasting, project cost analysis, and divisional P&L management.
- Proficient in implementing ERP systems and financial reporting tools tailored to multiple business lines.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
