Role Overview
- The Assistant Manager – Business Operations & Growth will directly support the Senior Manager, who oversees all city-level academies across India.
- This is a corporate leadership-track role, responsible for assisting in growth planning, expansion projects, cross-city performance tracking, and operational standardization. The Assistant Manager will act as a strategic enabler, ensuring smooth execution of the organization’s growth agenda.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Sales, or related fields.
- 3–6 years of experience in multi-city operations, business development, or corporate strategy roles.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, CRM, and dashboards.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to balance growth targets with operational excellence.
- High adaptability to manage multiple priorities across cities.
- Willingness to travel frequently for audits, launches, and reviews.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Senior Manager in executing national-level growth plans.
- Coordinate cross-city expansion projects, including new academy launches.
- Conduct research and provide market intelligence for scaling decisions.
- Monitor KPIs across all cities (enrollments, operations, financials).
- Maintain dashboards and generate analytical reports for management reviews.
- Identify underperforming areas and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure all academies follow SOPs, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.
- Audit city-level performance and highlight risks proactively.
- Act as a link between Senior Manager and city-level Assistant Managers / Executives.
- Support training and capability-building initiatives for on-ground teams.
- Handle escalations requiring corporate-level intervention.
- Track fee collections, cost efficiencies, and city-level profitability metrics.
- Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and business presentations.
- Provide data-driven insights for strategic decision-making.
- Support Senior Manager in national partnerships, Special Olympics collaborations etc.
- Manage special assignments that cut across multiple cities and teams.
