Our client is currently seeking a highly strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial direction of a dynamic and rapidly growing organization headquartered in Carrollton, Texas. This executive-level position is a critical member of the senior leadership team and will play a key role in shaping the company's U.S. market expansion. The ideal candidate is a finance expert with a proven record of raising capital, scaling operations, and guiding companies through IPOs and major growth phases. This is more than just a finance role—this is a seat at the table where innovation meets execution.
The Day-to-Day:
- Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy, including long-term planning, forecasting, and capital allocation.
- Lead and oversee all financial operations, including accounting, payroll, treasury, tax, audit, and reporting functions.
- Ensure strict compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and all applicable federal and state financial laws.
- Design and implement robust financial models, analytics, and dashboards to guide key strategic decisions.
- Establish and maintain internal controls, risk management systems, and financial governance frameworks.
- Serve as a key partner to the CEO and executive team on business expansion, M&A, and investment planning.
- Manage critical relationships with banks, investors, auditors, and regulatory bodies to safeguard company reputation and credibility.
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team to support business scalability and operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
- Advanced credentials such as Master’s, CPA, CFA, or CA are strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 12 years of progressive financial management experience, including 5+ years in an executive or leadership role.
- Deep expertise in U.S. GAAP, corporate taxation, and regulatory compliance.
- Must have experience successfully taking a company through an Initial Public Offering (IPO).
- Must have a proven history of raising both equity and debt capital.
- Must have executive-level experience managing companies with revenues of $500M or more.
- Industry experience in e-commerce, retail, or consumer goods is a significant plus.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and analytical skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
