Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team. The CFO will play a critical role in driving Bidyut Innovation’s financial growth, investor relations, and expansion strategy. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in financial planning, investment management, and business scaling, preferably within EdTech, manufacturing, or robotics sectors.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning & Strategy
- Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy in alignment with short-term and long-term goals.
- Prepare multi-year financial projections, including revenue, cash flow, and profitability models.
- Support expansion plans for robotic labs, franchise models, and educational book publishing across India.
- Evaluate new government schemes, Make in India opportunities, and tender projects for financial viability.
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead the annual budgeting process and track monthly, quarterly, and yearly performance against targets.
- Establish MIS systems for internal reporting, variance analysis, and cost optimization.
- Oversee financial control for production, marketing, R&D, and school project divisions.
Funding & Investor Relations
- Work closely with the Managing Director and Director to raise capital through investors, banks, or venture partners.
- Prepare pitch decks, investor reports, and valuation models for funding rounds.
- Manage relations with investors, auditors, and financial institutions to ensure compliance and transparency.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure adherence to company law, tax, GST, and audit regulations.
- Oversee financial due diligence, internal audits, and statutory audits.
- Implement strong financial controls and risk management frameworks across all departments.
Team Leadership
- Build and manage a high-performing finance and accounts team.
- Drive a culture of financial discipline, accountability, and transparency throughout the organization.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and R&D to ensure financial alignment.
Qualifications & Experience
- CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience in finance leadership roles.
- Experience in EdTech, Robotics, or Manufacturing sector preferred.
- Strong understanding of corporate finance, investment analysis, and business valuation.
- Proven ability to work with investors, auditors, and government funding programs.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
