EnviroGold Global ("NVRO") is a technology-driven clean-tech and critical-minerals company commercializing the proprietary NVRO Process across global tailings and refractory ore opportunities. We are at the forefront of sustainable mining technology, delivering innovative solutions that unlock value while minimizing environmental impact. We are in the process of commercializing and deploying our full industrial scale production units. The company will be deeply involved in the engineering, manufacturing, construction and commissioning and operations of these units and derive revenues from this business. Position Overview
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key member of the executive leadership team responsible for overseeing all financial, accounting, audit, governance, and reporting functions across the Group, including Canadian public-listing obligations (CSE/OTCQB/TSX-V).
The CFO is responsible for performing the accounting function, provides strategic financial leadership, ensures robust financial governance, leads capital planning and capital-raising support, and partners with the CEO and Board to drive commercial discipline across all operations in Australia, North America, and international project sites.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Leadership & Strategy
- Lead the Group's financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation processes
- Provide mining and processing operations financial modeling, scenario analysis, cash-flow forecasting and long-range planning
- Advise the CEO and Board on capital structure, debt facilities, equity issuances, treasury management, and corporate development initiatives
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Oversee preparation and delivery of all statutory financial statements in accordance with IFRS
- Ensure timely and accurate quarterly and annual reporting, including MD&A and SEDAR filings
- Review and sign-off on monthly management accounts, variance analyses, and segment reporting.
Canadian Public-Company Reporting
- Manage obligations under Canadian securities laws: continuous disclosure, material change reporting, interim/annual reporting
- Coordinate with Canadian counsel, auditors, transfer agents, and exchanges
- Ensure compliance with escrow, insider-reporting, and governance frameworks
Audit, Risk & Internal Controls
- Lead annual audits and interim reviews with external auditors
- Implement and maintain strong internal controls, financial policies, Delegated Authorities, and audit reporting
- Oversee financial, operational, and counterparty risk frameworks
Company Secretarial & Governance Support
- Support Board and Committee meetings, including preparation of board packs, agendas, resolutions, and filings
- Maintain corporate registers, minute books, securities registers, and disclosure logs
- Ensure compliance with ASIC and Canadian corporate legislation
Management Reporting & Cost Accounting
- Produce monthly management reporting packs, P&L, balance sheet, cash-flow, KPIs, and project financials
- Oversee cost accounting for NVRO pilot campaigns, demonstration plants, engineering packages, and site operations
- Build comprehensive financial models for NVRO modules including capex/opex analysis
Treasury, Cash Management & Controls
- Oversee liquidity planning, foreign exchange strategies, and banking relationships
- Implement automated controls and rigorous monthly close disciplines
Board & Investor Presentation Support
- Prepare high-quality financial presentations for Board meetings and investor communications
- Translate complex financial issues into clear, actionable insights for diverse stakeholders
Corporate Finance & Capital Markets
- Support capital raises including convertible notes, debt, and equity financing
- Manage valuation analysis, investor materials, and due-diligence processes
Team Collaboration
- Demonstrate a can-do attitude and strong commitment to teamwork
- Maintain an outcome-oriented approach focused on delivering results
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (required)
- CPA or CA qualification (required)
- 7+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 2 years in senior finance leadership roles
- Demonstrated experience with Canadian-listed companies (CSE/TSX-V/TSX). ASX experience will be considered.
- Strong expertise in IFRS, audit, reporting, and compliance
- Preferred: Experience in mining, critical minerals, or industrial technology sectors
