What you will do:
- Work collaboratively as part of the family office leadership team to define and set strategic priorities and objectives
- Offer accurate, timely data and insights to guide decision-making
- Oversee accounting, tax, finance, and operational functions, ensuring excellence in financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and cash management
- Manage external investment managers and coordinate investment recommendations
- Manage tax and estate planning strategy, partnering with advisors to ensure compliance and efficiency in planning
- Organize Foundation grant committee meetings and maintain adherence to tax regulations for grants
- Oversee family meetings, including agenda and material preparation and written recaps
- Analyze and negotiate agreements and contracts; coordinate with external legal counsel
- Manage external advisors and service providers, tracking fees, agreements, and performance metrics
What you will need to be successful:
- High-level technical background in tax, accounting, and project management
- Expertise in tax and investment partnership accounting, compliance, and tax planning
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Process-oriented and a strong attention to detail, while maintaining a big-picture outlook
- Excellent problem-solving and project management skills
- Strong leadership, relationship-building, and advisory skills
- Professional integrity, judgment, and the capacity to act as a trusted advisor
