The Opportunity
This is a newly created role and has been designed to bring structure, consistency and momentum to the internal ongoings of this ever-evolving organisation. Sitting at the intersection of people leadership, business operations and technology implementation, the Business & Operations Manager position will act as a central connector across various internal teams including Finance, HR, Development, Marketing and Sales. This role will focus on implementing and improving internal processes, driving technology adoption and supporting the leadership team as the business continues to scale. It is a hands-on position that requires experience and initiative as well as sound judgement and discretion. Over time, you will be exposed to confidential and commercially sensitive matters and will work closely with senior leaders to help translate your strategy into well-run day-to-day operations. This role will suit someone who enjoys ownership, influence and variety, and who wants to grow with a business that is still very much on the way up.
Key Focus Area & Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day business and office operations, including policies, workflows, meeting structures, facilities and operational governance
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and implementing practical process systems, workflows and approval frameworks
- Own IT systems and technology initiatives, including CRM, project management tools, software selection, implementation, training and vendor management
- Support ESG, OH&S and compliance requirements, including policy implementation, reporting, sustainability initiatives and related internal training
- Act as a central liaison across the leadership team and external HR partners to support people initiatives, system adoption and organisational effectiveness

- Pragmatic rather than theoretical, and confident working with/managing senior stakeholder expectations
- Enjoy building systems and processes from the ground up, not just maintaining what exists

- Collaborative, motivated, adaptable and prepared to roll their sleeves up
The Finer Details
- The business is looking to interview, hire and ultimately have someone commence in this role ASAP
- Salary on offer of circa $200,000 - $220,000 plus Superannuation, based on skillset, experience and value add
- City fringe office location accessible by public transport, with WFH as an option one day per week (negotiable)
- Property Experience is not essential; candidates from other industry backgrounds are encouraged to apply
