The Sales Operations Associate (AI & Data Enablement) plays a critical role in transforming Field Orthopaedics sales operations into a technology-enabled, data-driven function. Instead of acting as a traditional sales operator, this role leverages automation, AI tools, and data engineering to streamline processes, enrich insights, and serve as the human-in-the-loop for AI-assisted decision-making. This position ensures that sales activities are scalable, compliant with ISO 13485, and aligned with the company’s U.S. expansion strategy.

Key Organizational Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines to support CRM, ERP, and sales analytics systems.
- Collaborate with Sales Operations Executive to identify opportunities for automation and AI integration in sales and customer operations.
- Develop scripts, APIs, and backend workflows to automate routine sales processes (quotations, order processing, reporting).
- Act as the human-in-the-loop for AI-driven workflows, validating outputs, improving model feedback, and ensuring compliance with ISO 13485 and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate, validated data in CRM and ERP systems to ensure product traceability and compliance in medical device sales.
- Generate advanced dashboards and predictive analytics to support sales forecasting and strategic planning.
- Provide technical and operational support for field sales teams to ensure seamless adoption of AI-powered tools.
- Assist in regulatory and audit processes where AI-driven sales records intersect with compliance requirements.
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this position, you will possess the following key skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Business Information Systems, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in sales operations, business systems, or data engineering (medical device or pharma industry preferred).
- Hands-on experience with backend development (Python, SQL, or similar languages).
- Familiarity with CRM (Hubspot), ERP systems, and API integrations.
- Understanding of AI/ML workflows, automation tools, and data pipelines.
- Knowledge of ISO 13485 requirements for sales/customer management data.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to balance compliance, technical rigor, and commercial impact.
- Self-starter who has the ability to work autonomously, under pressure and to tight timelines;
- Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving ability;
- High level of interpersonal skills and able to build and maintain strong relationships (internal and external) to ensure business needs and timelines are met;
- Effective verbal and written communication;
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
