Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market reach, and developing new business opportunities in the plastic monsoon wear segment, including raincoats, ponchos, PVC/TPU rainwear, industrial rain protection products, and custom plastic solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
· Identify and develop new B2B and B2C clients, distributors, dealers, and institutional buyers
· Expand market presence for plastic monsoon wear products such as raincoats, PVC suits, and industrial rain protection
· Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with seasonal (monsoon) demand
· Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
· Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities
· Explore new geographies, channels, and product segments
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and channel partners
· Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms with clients
· Coordinate with production, supply chain, and quality teams for timely order execution
· Collect customer feedback and suggest product improvements or innovations
· Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and business development plans
Required Skills & Competencies:
· Strong knowledge of plastic products and monsoon wear industry
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
· Ability to build long-term customer relationships
· Strong analytical and market research skills
· Target-driven and result-oriented approach
· Willingness to travel extensively during peak season
Preferred Industry Background:
Plastic Manufacturing, Rainwear & Monsoon Products, PVC/TPU Products, FMCG Seasonal Products, Industrial Safety & Protective Wear.
