Title: Chief Financial Officer
Location: Liverpool Street, London
Salary: £125,000 – £130,000 + bonus & benefits
We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join the senior management team of a well-established professional services firm with a turnover exceeding £20m. Located in the Liverpool Street area, the firm has a strong track record of growth and a reputation for delivering high-quality services to its clients.
The CFO will report directly to the CEO and the Board, providing strategic financial leadership across the business. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced finance professional to make a significant impact on a dynamic, expanding firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the finance and accounting teams, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Oversee cash flow, working capital, and financing requirements to support business growth.
- Maintain and enhance robust internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Manage relationships with banks, investors, and other financial stakeholders to support growth initiatives and funding requirements.
- Provide strategic input into business planning, investment decisions, and risk management.
- Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute business strategies.
- Drive financial performance, efficiency, and compliance across the firm.
- Mentor and develop finance team members to build a high-performing finance function.
Experience and Skills:
- Proven experience as CFO or Finance Director within a professional services or comparable high-growth business.
- Strong knowledge of UK financial reporting, taxation, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with funding structures, debt finance, and financial strategy.
- Demonstrable track record in managing finance teams and influencing strategic business decisions.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to combine commercial insight with financial expertise to drive growth.
