Group Chief Financial Officer | International Manufacturing & Distribution Group
Location: London / Hybrid (3 days per week required on-site at South West office and international travel)
We are partnering with an investor‑backed international group to appoint a Chief Financial Officer to lead its global finance function through the next phase of growth and change.
The business designs, manufactures and wholesales branded products into retail and specialist channels across Europe, North America and Asia. With revenue in the low‑hundreds of millions and a vertically integrated model, the group combines in‑house manufacturing in Asia with substantial operations in mainland Europe, the US and the UK.
Reporting to the Group CEO and working closely with a highly engaged shareholder base, the CFO will:
- Own group financial management: IFRS reporting, multi‑currency consolidations, budgeting, forecasting and Board‑level insight.
- Drive cash, liquidity and FX management, optimising working capital, cost base and capital structure.
- Lead M&A activity end‑to‑end, from evaluation and due diligence through to integration and value delivery.
- Upgrade the global finance organisation, team, processes and systems, including the use of automation and analytics.
- Partner the CEO and investors as a key strategic voice in shaping the group’s growth.
We are seeking a commercially minded, hands‑on CFO who has:
- Current or recent experience as Group CFO / FD in an international, multi‑site manufacturing and/or distribution business.
- A strong track record in PE‑backed or private‑markets environments with a clear value‑creation agenda.
- Deep experience of IFRS, multi‑currency reporting, cash and treasury management, FX and working capital optimisation.
- Significant M&A exposure, including integrations, in relevant sectors.
- Experience professionalising finance teams and processes, ideally with automation/AI tools.
- A collaborative but direct style, comfortable operating with entrepreneurial investors and leading change across geographies.
Base salary will be in the region of £200k–£250k plus package and a competitive incentive arrangement.
