Group CFO (International SME | Art & Luxury Sector)

We’re partnering with a globally recognised art and luxury business to appoint a Group CFO to join the board and lead its next phase of international growth.
Operating across the UK, US, and Europe, the business generates £55–60m revenue and combines high-value transactions, cross-border structures, and regulated activity within a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment.
The Role
A strategic, hands-on CFO position with broad responsibility across finance, operations, and commercial decision-making. You’ll work directly with shareholders, sit on multiple boards, and play a central role in shaping growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead group-wide financial strategy across multiple international entities
- Deliver board-level reporting, insight, and capital allocation decisions
- Oversee finance operations, including reporting, audit, budgeting, and controls
- Manage treasury, liquidity, and FX exposure in a complex, deal-driven environment
- Support international expansion and evaluate new ventures / partnerships
- Advise on deal structuring, pricing, and margin optimisation
- Oversee regulatory compliance, including FCA-related activity and AML frameworks
- Provide oversight on legal, tax, and cross-border VAT matters
- Act as Director across entities, supporting governance and stakeholder management
Key Requirements
Essential:
- Proven Group CFO / senior FD experience
- Multi-entity, international exposure
- Strong cash flow, treasury, and controls expertise
- Board-level reporting experience
- Background in regulated environments
Desirable:
- Art, luxury, or high-value asset sectors
- Complex VAT / cross-border structures
- Insurance or regulated finance exposure
- Experience with JVs or expansion
