About the Role:
SellGlow Digital is at an inflection point. We have the creative talent, the technical chops, and a loyal client base. Now, we need the engine to scale.
We are seeking a Commercial Director (CRO) to take total ownership of our revenue streams. You will move us away from "feast or famine" cycles and build a predictable sales machine. You will align Marketing (lead gen) with Sales (closing) and Account Management (retention), ensuring that every client touchpoint drives value. You aren't just closing deals; you are designing the strategy that takes us from our current turnover to a 3x multiple within 36 months.

The Mandate:
- Revenue Strategy: Define the Go-To-Market strategy. Are we targeting enterprise eCommerce in Manchester or SaaS startups in London? You decide the hunting ground.
- Sales Leadership: Mentor and expand the existing sales team. Move them from "order takers" to "consultative closers." Implement rigorous pipeline management and accurate forecasting.
- Marketing Alignment: Work closely with the Head of Marketing to ensure MQLs (Marketing Qualified Leads) are converting to SQLs (Sales Qualified Leads). Stop the "blame game" between departments.
- Client Retention: Oversee the Account Management function. Ensure we are upselling and cross-selling to existing clients, maximizing Lifetime Value (LTV).
- Partnerships: Build strategic alliances with tech partners (e.g., Shopify, Google, Klaviyo) to drive referral business.
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience: 10+ years in Digital Agency or SaaS Sales, with at least 3 years in a Head of Sales or Commercial Director role.
- Track Record: You can point to a specific tenure where you took revenue from £X million to £Y million. You have the scars and the trophies to prove it.
- Methodology: You know your way around Sandler, MEDDIC, or Spin Selling. You don't rely on luck; you rely on process.
- Data-Driven: You live in the CRM. You make decisions based on CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost) and Churn Rate, not gut feeling.
- Liverpool Soul: You understand the local market but have the network to win business in London and internationally.
