SHIFT: 8:00am - 4:30pm
POSITION PURPOSE
The purpose of this role is to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and quality in Pre-Production and lab processes by troubleshooting errors, validating system data, and coordinating corrective actions across departments. This position supports new product launches, oversees quality control for outsourced labs, and provides training follow-up to maintain operational standards. The role is critical in safeguarding product integrity, enhancing customer satisfaction, and driving continuous improvement in workflow and communication.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Troubleshoot errors in PP/Tracing that may lead to lab rework.
- Review CCB and TIP buckets to ensure information and notes are accurate and clearly documented.
- Communicate with other departments when errors are identified and ensure accurate information is provided.
- Provide input during new product launches (lens and frame) and ensure all errors are resolved promptly.
- Follow-up training for staff requiring additional support to maintain quality standards.
- Perform quality control for outsourced labs (US), including collecting rejected lenses and returning them for evaluation.
- Assist in resolving rejected orders from outsourced labs to minimize delays and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Manage the specialty lens order workflow, ensuring all orders meet established specifications and are processed with complete accuracy.
- Perform any other duties and tasks as needed or assigned.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

- Minimum 10 years of Optical experience working in an optical lab
- Strong technical and product knowledge in Optics required
- Good Understanding of all Optical lab processes and Flow.
