For our client, we are seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will support high-impact work that contributes directly to business performance and team success. You will collaborate across functions to move priorities forward, solve complex problems, and deliver measurable outcomes. The position offers the opportunity to influence both strategic direction and day-to-day execution in a fast-moving environment.
Location: New York, NY - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $300,000 – $350,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and Board on financial matters and capital allocation
- Lead the development of multi-year strategic plans and annual operating budgets aligned with business priorities
- Build and mentor a high-performing global finance organization across diverse finance functions
- Drive the company's financial narrative and interface with lenders and investors
- Oversee multi-country financial reporting and ensure compliance with US GAAP and local regulations
- Manage foreign exchange risks and lead international treasury operations and tax strategies
- Implement scalable financial systems and deliver insightful management reporting
Qualifications
- 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including 5+ years as CFO or equivalent in a tech or high-growth SaaS environment
- Demonstrated success in managing finance operations across multiple countries and currencies, with international P&L experience
- Expert-level knowledge of US GAAP, ASC 606, financial reporting standards; IFRS familiarity is a plus
- Proven track record in leading full-cycle M&A processes, including financial modeling and post-close integration
- Experience in building and scaling finance teams with a focus on talent attraction and retention
