Salary Range: $250k - $300k
About the Role
This position is a key member of the Senior Executive Leadership team and reports to the CEO (a co-founder), with close interaction with both co-founders, the Board, C-Suite, and all departments. In addition to managing the Accounting/Finance team, including Inventory Control and its processes, the CFO will play a vital role in leading and collaborating on strategic initiatives across the organization. Oversight will also extend to other operational business units such as real estate LLCs.

Responsibilities
- Lead and execute annual budgeting and reforecasting processes.
- Prepare, present, and manage reports and analyses for budgets, forecasts, financial plans, cash flow, and projections.
- Oversee tax strategy across multiple entities (C-Corp, S-Corp, LLCs) in coordination with external advisors.
- Identify opportunities to automate and improve financial processes through technology.
- Collaborate with the Controller to implement accounting controls, policies, and procedures; ensure compliance with all relevant tax and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and manage relationships with external partners (banks, accounting firms, legal, brokers, etc.) with professionalism aligned to the company’s premium brand.
- Oversee accounting and financial statements for all entities, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and proactive reporting to ownership and the Board.
- Mentor and develop the Accounting/Finance and Inventory Control teams; create a talent and organizational development plan to support business goals.
- Serve as a strategic influencer and partner in driving projects and initiatives to successful completion.
- Evolve the Accounting/Finance function into a service-driven department supporting other business units with excellent financial guidance.
Requirements
- BS in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA and/or MBA preferred.
- 20+ years of Accounting/Finance and leadership experience.
- Experience with M&A and large-scale transactions.
- Proven leadership in a $100M+ organization; comfort working with founder-led teams.
- Strong background in warehouse inventory accounting and processes (wholesale/retail).
- Experience advising CEOs and/or founders.
- Deep understanding of accounting principles, financial practices, and policies.
- Track record of success in fast-paced, high-growth businesses.
- Entrepreneurial grit with strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
