Our client is a middle market manufacturing, distribution and value added services company backed by a leading private equity firm. The company is a market leader in their space and well positioned for continued expansion, which will be driven both organically and through a more aggressive M&A strategy. The CFO will play a critical role in their growth and success over the next several years. This role will work at both a strategic level, helping to influence the direction of the company but also in a hands-on capacity, working closely with their branch and regional leaders in the field. The company is currently on a strong financial position.
Must have experience:
- Currently reside in the greater Houston area. There is not a hybrid or commuting option.
- Previous CFO experience a must, preferably from another private equity backed business with a similar model and labor force. Experience working in a business model with a branch based business is a must.
- Experience in a successful private equity backed business, with a track record of growth and success ideally leading to a successful exit.
- Experience acting in a hands-on, "do-er" capacity as CFO; able to flex between the strategic and tactical work.
- A track record of building a high performing function and team that is referenceable with past sponsors.
- MBA and CPA highly preferred.
