Characteristics And Responsibilities
Financial Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in alignment with overall business
- objectives.
- Drive financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to ensure sound financial
- management.
Financial Reporting And Analysis
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses.
- Provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making by the executive
- team and the Board of Directors.
Risk Management
- Identify and assess financial risks, proposing mitigation strategies to safeguard the company's
- financial health.
- Implement robust internal controls and compliance measures.
Capital Management
- Optimize the company's capital structure and manage capital allocation to support growth
- initiatives.
- Evaluate and execute financing opportunities, including debt and equity.
Investor Relations
- Serve as a key point of contact for investors, analysts, and other external stakeholders.
- Effectively communicate the company's financial performance and strategic initiatives.
Team Leadership
- Provide strong leadership to the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and
- collaboration.
- Mentor and develop finance professionals, ensuring a high-performing and motivated team.
Mergers And Acquisitions
- Lead financial due diligence for potential acquisitions or partnerships.
- Play a key role in negotiating and structuring financial aspects of deals.
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure Compliance with financial regulations, accounting principles, and tax laws.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and changes in financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Knowledge of Accounting laws of U.K. and India preferred.
- Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial management best
- practices.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in guiding finance teams.
