About the Company
This is a well-established and substantial US-headquartered, privately-owned business with exciting growth plans. Based in Western Sydney, the Australian business is a complex, multi-site manufacturing and distribution operation with facilities around the country. This key leadership role will support the Managing Director in driving commercial and operational initiatives across the organisation to deliver sustainable growth and profitability, as well as identifying and executing on growth opportunities.
About the Role
This is a broad and hands-on role, supporting the MD and working with the leadership team to drive commercial success.
· Lead a finance team of 12, develop capability and leverage a recently implemented ERP
· Provide commercial and strategic insights to support business decisions, such as revenue growth, customer & product profitability insights, pricing strategy, working capital optimisation and asset management
· Take a disciplined approach to managing costs and creating new opportunities for simplification and efficiency
· Partner with the MD to drive operational efficiency including integration of prior acquisitions
· Partner with the US-based Finance team on reporting, governance and capital investment / M&A opportunity evaluation
Your background

· Experience of partnering a CEO in a mid-size company or division
· You enjoy working in a fast-paced and agile business environment while understanding the discipline and governance of a multinational structure
· Experience in organisations with a product distribution focus such as FMCG, manufacturing, retail or logistics
· You are a credible, proactive, and confident leader with a collaborative and supportive management style
