ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION
Our client is a well-established, mission-driven nonprofit organization based in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. They operate multiple program locations across the state and provide critical health and human services to the communities they serve. With a passionate leadership team and a long history of community impact, this organization is financially stable and continuing to grow.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Due to the retirement of a long-tenured CFO, our client is seeking an experienced and driven Chief Financial Officer to join their senior leadership team. Reporting directly to the President & CEO, the CFO will serve as a key financial partner and a trusted member of the executive team. This is a hands-on leadership role that calls for someone ready to hit the ground running. The CEO expects a peer-level financial leader — someone who can quickly assess the landscape, take ownership of all finance and accounting functions, and drive meaningful improvements. You will supervise and mentor the Controller and additional finance staff, making this as much a people leadership role as a technical one.
