Role Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a full-time, hybrid role based in Largo, FL, with a combination of on-site and work-from-home responsibilities. The CFO oversees all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting, ensuring the company’s financial health and alignment with strategic goals. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing accounting and finance teams, monitoring KPIs, and providing data-driven insights to executive leadership. The CFO develops and implements financial policies, internal controls, and compliance frameworks, working closely with other leaders on growth initiatives, cost optimization, and risk management. This position also involves collaboration with external partners such as auditors, banks, and advisors, and presenting clear financial updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Finance and Financial Planning skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, with the ability to interpret and present accurate, timely information.
- Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making, KPI monitoring, and financial modeling.
- Extensive experience in senior financial leadership roles, preferably as CFO or equivalent in a growth-oriented organization.
- Thorough understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Proficiency with financial systems, ERP tools, and advanced spreadsheet and analytics software.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; CPA, MBA, or equivalent advanced qualification strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing finance teams and to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
