Why This Role Exists
Innovapptive is scaling its global deployment footprint and requires a highly analytical, business-savvy Manager - BizOps to institutionalize operational excellence across our Professional Services (PS) organization.
As we onboard massive global enterprises, managing our services organization with precision becomes critical. This role exists to own the entire delivery and financial engine of our services arm—driving capacity planning, project governance, audit compliance, and financial rigor. You will bridge the gap between delivery, finance, and executive leadership, turning raw operational data into strategic P&L insights and high-performing workforce decisions.
What You
- OwnProfessional Services Operations: Establish, optimize, and run standardized PMO operating models, project P&L governance, RAID frameworks, billing milestones, and cross-BU delivery processes to ensure predictable global delivery and margin cont
- rol.Capacity Planning & Resource Management: Build and maintain advanced forecasting, resource utilization, bench-time, and availability models; generate data-driven demand vs. supply scenarios and strategic hiring recommendati
- ons.Project Governance & Reporting: Lead robust portfolio governance architectures (QBRs/MBRs/WBRs), track delivery milestones, manage executive reporting, and build real-time decision intelligence networks.
- Audit & Compliance: Implement and manage strict PMO audit frameworks, quality control, CSAT governance, and support the operational controls required for compliance initiatives like ISO, SOC2, and CMMI.
- Financial Billing & Revenue Optimization: Own the end-to-end invoicing cadence, billing utilization calculations, revenue recognition inputs, billing disputes, and milestone workflows, ensuring seamless reconciliation with core finance systems.
- Data Management & Insights: Transform, cleanse, and maintain complex Professional Services datasets; architect repeatable ETL/analysis processes to flag and mitigate utilization trends, margin levers, and billing leakages.
- Stakeholder & Leadership Engagement: Act as a strategic partner to Executive Leadership, translating complex operational analytics into clear, data-backed recommendations while collaborating closely with Finance, HR/Recruiting, Sales, and Delivery teams.
You Must Have
- 8+ years in Professional Services operations, PMO, or Business Operations roles with end-to-end ownership of delivery and financial controls within a product or enterprise SaaS ecosystem.
- Deep Financial & Resource Acumen: Demonstrated hands-on experience with capacity forecasting, target utilization modeling, project P&L governance, and billing/revenue recognition workflows.
- Advanced Data Management Stack: Expert proficiency in advanced Excel, ETL/data transformation practices, and building automated executive-grade dashboards using Power BI, Looker, or Tableau.
- PSA Tooling Expertise: Proven experience operating and architecting workflows within Professional Services Automation (PSA) tools (e.g., NetSuite OpenAir, Jira, or equivalent)
- Executive Presence: Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to defend data-driven insights and present actionable strategies directly to executive leadership.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or a relevant advanced business degree is highly preferred.
Nice to Have
- Experience operating within an industrial SaaS, enterprise software, or heavy technology consulting platform.
- Prior experience implementing or maintaining compliance and quality frameworks supporting ISO, SOC2, or CMMI certification milestones.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies alongside traditional PMO structures.
- You Will Be Measured On P&L & Margin Control: Success in achieving/restoring target Professional Services gross margins and drastically reducing billing and revenue leakage.
Reporting Velocity:
Delivery of fully automated executive dashboards and a target ~50% reduction in manual reporting cycle times.
Resource Optimization:
Month-over-month improvements in global resource utilization accuracy and structured reduction of bench-time.
Compliance Readiness:
Successful implementation of quality and audit controls required to clear regulatory and compliance milestones (ISO/SOC2/CMMI).

On-time tracking of milestones and proactive mitigation of project delivery risks across the global portfolio.
