Eton Bridge Partners is partnering exclusively with a global private equity-backed end-to-end construction services business to appoint its next Chief Financial Officer. Operating across 15 countries, the company has built a differentiated strategy, with a design and build offering and is entering an exciting phase of growth and value creation. This is a high-impact opportunity for an established CFO, or a high-calibre ambitious finance leader ready to step up, to work alongside the CEO, Board and investors in driving performance and preparing the business for a future exit event.
As a key member of the Group Executive Committee, you will lead the financial agenda across a complex international business, combining strategic leadership with hands-on operational execution. You will be responsible for strengthening financial discipline, enhancing performance visibility, optimising cash generation and supporting the organisation's continued growth journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead group cash management, forecasting, liquidity planning and working capital performance.
- Drive budgeting, forecasting and operational performance across the business.
- Lead and develop a high-performing global finance function.
- Enhance board, lender and investor reporting, supporting the wider value creation strategy.
- Drive improvements in billing, collections, project performance and financial controls.
- Support exit readiness planning and strategic decision-making.
The Ideal Candidate
We are interested in speaking with both experienced CFOs as well as exceptional divisional, regional or deputy CFOs seeking a broader leadership mandate. You will likely bring:
- Finance leadership experience within project-based, contract-driven or principal-risk environments.
- Exposure to sectors such as design & build, construction, engineering, professional services or other complex project-led international businesses.
- Strong understanding of WIP, project economics, cash flow management and percentage-of-completion accounting.
- Experience operating in leveraged, cash-focused or performance improvement environments.
- A commercially minded, hands-on leadership style and a genuine appetite for building and developing teams.
- Experience of M&A, private equity or exit-related activity would be advantageous, but is not essential.
The Opportunity
For the right individual, this represents a rare opportunity to play a central role in a global growth story, influence strategic outcomes at Board level and help deliver a successful value creation and exit journey.
