Job Title: Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) / GM Country Manager
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Chief Revenue Officer (CRO)/ GM Country Manager to join our leadership team. The CRO will oversee the company’s revenue strategy and execution, aligning the sales, customer success and GTM functions to drive revenue growth. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that all revenue-generating functions are working cohesively to maximize performance, customer retention, and profitability.
As the CRO/GM Country Manager, you will be the driving force behind Clients revenue generation and market expansion efforts. This pivotal role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, requiring a seasoned professional who can navigate the complexities of a SaaS sales motion into the US financial services landscape while also impacting global operations collaboratively. Based in the US and reporting directly to the CEO, this position is ideal for an ambitious leader looking to make a significant impact in a growing tech company with blue sky growth opportunities.
As a key business partner to the CEO you will be responsible for architecting and implementing comprehensive sales and revenue strategies, building high-performing teams, and positioning Client at the forefront of the document collection solutions market. Your success will be measured by revenue growth, market share expansion, and the establishment of Client as a trusted partner to major players in the financial services, banking, and lending industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive revenue strategy that aligns with the company’s overall business objectives and growth targets.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, including new markets, products, and customer segments.
- Lead the development and improvement of pricing, sales models, positioning and go-to-market strategies to optimize revenue generation.
- Sales Leadership:
- Oversee the sales organization, ensuring alignment and communication of sales targets in line with business goals.
- Mentor, coach, and develop sales leaders to build a high-performing sales team executing in line with our people-first DNA.
- Drive the sales function, to identify, negotiate and close new business opportunities for the business
- Implement effective sales processes, performance metrics, and KPIs to ensure successful execution and growth.
- Partnerships & Channel Management
- Identify, negotiate, and close strategic partnerships with key industry players, including technology providers, consultancies, and industry associations
- Create and manage a robust pipeline of potential strategic partnership opportunities
- Establish and expand relationships with key clients, becoming a trusted advisor at the C-suite level
- Represent Client at high-profile industry events, conferences, and speaking engagements
- Marketing & Brand Positioning:
- Collaborate with the Marketing function in the business to develop marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness and demand generation.
- Ensure sales initiatives are aligned with marketing initiatives to create a seamless customer journey.
- Collaborate on the development of marketing materials and collateral that effectively communicate the company’s value proposition.
- Customer Success & Retention:
- Oversee the customer success function to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and expansion.
- Develop strategies to improve Average Revenue per Customer (ARPA) and customer lifetime value (CLTV) along with reducing churn.
- Build relationships with key customers, partners and industry players to foster long-term success and growth.
- Performance Management & Reporting:
- Set and track revenue-related KPIs, sales forecasts, and performance metrics.
- Provide regular reports to the executive team and board on revenue performance, market dynamics, and growth opportunities.
- Lead data-driven decision-making to optimize sales, marketing, and customer success efforts.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with senior leadership across all departments, including product, finance, and operations, to align revenue strategies and initiatives.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and performance across the revenue-generating functions.
- Market & Competitive Analysis:
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market shifts.
- Leverage market intelligence to identify new revenue opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a senior sales leader, revenue executive, or similar role in a high-growth, fast-paced environment (ideally SaaS or technology-based).
- At least 10 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
- A strong track record of driving revenue growth and managing cross-functional teams.
- Expertise in designing and implementing scalable sales and revenue models.
- Exceptional leadership, mentoring, and team-building skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage C-suite executives, external partners and in speaking engagements.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to use analytics to make informed decisions and optimize performance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or advanced degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or comparable real world experience)
- Experience with SaaS, subscription-based business models, or financial technology.
- Experience selling into the Financial Services sector ideally within technology
- Expertise in managing revenue operations, forecasting, and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Experience in driving cross-departmental collaboration to improve customer satisfaction and revenue growth.
