Overview
We are seeking a Principal Business Operations Manager to strengthen and scale the execution backbone of our APAC Go-To-Market organization. This role is designed for a senior operations leader who excels at turning strategy into durable operating mechanisms, building scalable systems, and ensuring teams execute with clarity, consistency, and discipline.
This position is deeply execution-oriented. Success is defined by how well the business runs: the quality of operating rhythms, the reliability of data, the effectiveness of cross-functional processes, and the organization’s ability to execute priorities quarter after quarter as the business scales.
This role partners closely with GTM, Finance, Product, and Analytics leaders, but does not own market strategy or competitive positioning. Instead, it ensures that priorities are translated into executable plans, tracked rigorously, and continuously improved.
Responsibilities
GTM Operating Model & Execution Enablement
- Own and continuously improve the APAC GTM operating model, ensuring clarity of roles, decision rights, and handoffs across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product.
- Translate company and regional priorities into clear execution frameworks, timelines, and accountability structures.
- Act as a force multiplier for GTM leaders by removing operational friction and enabling faster, more predictable execution.
Business Cadence & Execution Discipline
- Design and run the core business operating cadence, including OKRs, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), forecast reviews, and cross-functional execution forums.
- Ensure consistency, quality, and follow-through across planning and review cycles.
- Build mechanisms that surface risks early and enable corrective action before performance gaps widen.
Data & Operational Infrastructure & Performance Measurement
- Partner with Analytics teams to ensure a reliable single source of truth for operational and performance data.
- Drive improvements in data quality, definitions, workflows, and integrations to support executional decision-making.
- Build and maintain granular dashboards that track real-time operational efficiency (e.g., CAC/LTV, departmental Opex, employee productivity) instead of focusing on high-level market trends.
Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement
- Conduct deep operational reviews across GTM workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and failure points.
- Lead redesign and implementation of improved processes using Lean, Agile, or similar methodologies.
- Measure impact and ensure new processes are embedded, adopted, and sustained over time.
Change Management & Cross-Functional Delivery
- Lead the operational side of organizational and process change, ensuring new ways of working are clearly documented, communicated, and adopted.
- Coordinate multi-quarter initiatives that require tight alignment across teams, systems, and timelines.
- Act as a trusted operational partner to senior leaders, focused on how the business executes rather than what strategy it pursues.
- Identify, pilot, and scale the use of AI and automation to streamline GTM workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve operational efficiency, data quality, and speed of execution.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in senior business operations, GTM operations, or similar execution-focused roles.
- 5+ years in leadership managing and developing talent, setting clear direction and accountability, and leading teams through change
- Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional growth initiatives across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product.
- Ability to drive accountability and execution in matrixed environments.
- Extensive hands-on experience working within GTM systems, analysing and manipulating data, not just consuming outputs.
- Strong understanding of data models, workflows, objects, and operational dependencies.
- Ability to independently diagnose operational and data issues and translate business needs into scalable system and process solutions.
- Demonstrated track record of owning initiatives from problem definition through implementation, rollout, and optimization.
- Comfortable breaking down annual priorities into executable 30/60/90-day plans with measurable outcomes.
- Bias toward action, operational rigor, and sustained execution over one-off project delivery.
- Experience supporting annual planning, resourcing, and budget management from an execution and operational health perspective.
- Strong analytical skills applied to internal performance, productivity, and operational efficiency (not market strategy).
- Ability to operate with imperfect data while improving rigor and reliability over time.
