About The Role
This isn't a traditional pre-sales role. As a Senior Solutions Consultant (GTM) at ConvergentIS, you'll be working directly with CPOs, CFOs, and CIOs at enterprise organizations — diagnosing real operational challenges, designing solutions, and helping some of the world's largest companies modernize how procurement and finance actually work.
You'll be the person in the room who can move fluently between a boardroom conversation about strategic transformation and a detailed operational discussion about how a process breaks down. You connect the dots between what a client needs, what Rio can do, and how to tell that story in a way that gets executive buy-in. You're not demoing features — you're building business cases that move deals forward.
This is a high-visibility, high-impact role at the intersection of enterprise technology, operational transformation, and product innovation. You'll work closely with Sales, Product, Delivery, and Marketing — and you'll have a direct hand in shaping how we show up in market.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading high-quality discovery conversations with procurement, finance, and IT stakeholders at the executive and operational level
- Designing solutions and transformation roadmaps that align to client maturity, industry realities, and technology landscape
- Building and delivering compelling, client-specific demonstrations that connect innovation to real business outcomes — not just feature walkthroughs
- Quantifying value and building executive-ready business cases with credible financial models tied to CFO-relevant metrics
- Supporting RFI/RFP responses and proposal builds in partnership with the Sales team
- Contributing to messaging, positioning, competitive differentiation, and account strategy
About You
- 8–15+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or finance transformation
- A strong track record in pre-sales or solutions consulting within a SaaS environment — this is non-negotiable
- Proven experience with procurement technology — you understand the landscape, the buyers, and the problems worth solving
- The ability to build and deliver compelling, client-specific demos that go beyond features and land as business narratives
- Strong financial modelling and business case skills — you can translate operational improvements into CFO-relevant numbers
- Executive presence — you're comfortable and credible at the C-suite level
- Excellent structured thinking and communication skills — you synthesize complex inputs and make them clear
- SAP familiarity (ECC and/or S/4HANA) is a strong asset, but not a requirement — we have deep SAP expertise in-house
Location: Remote — Canada Eastern timezone strongly preferred to enable overlap with both North American and EMEA clients.
