Role OverviewWe are seeking a Business Operations Associate to support and anchor our commercial operations while contributing to early-stage customer engagement.
This is a hybrid role that spans accounts, order execution, and customer coordination, requiring both operational discipline and commercial awareness.
Key Responsibilities1. Commercial Operations & Accounts- Manage the end-to-end order-to-cash cycle, including quotations, invoicing, and collections
- Maintain accurate financial records, including bookkeeping and vendor reconciliations
- Coordinate with external consultants for GST filings and statutory compliance
- Track batch-wise costs and monitor margins in line with raw material price movements (LME/MCX)
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation of orders, dispatches, and payments
2. Customer Coordination & Commercial Support- Act as the first point of contact for inbound customer enquiries and follow-ups
- Prepare quotations and assist in commercial discussions
- Coordinate sample dispatches, trials, and order execution with internal teams
- Maintain a structured CRM/database of leads, trials, and customer interactions
- Ensure consistent follow-up on all enquiries and ongoing customer requirements
3. Business Support & Market Feedback- Support the founders in building and tracking a sales pipeline
- Coordinate logistics for dispatch of materials, including moisture-sensitive shipments
- Gather and relay market feedback and customer insights to support product development and positioning
Candidate Profile- 3β6 years of experience in a B2B, industrial, manufacturing, or trading environment
- Familiarity with accounting systems (Zoho Books/Tally/ERP) and commercial processes
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage both operational tasks and customer interactions effectively
- Detail-oriented, with a high degree of ownership and accountability
