About the company:
We're an AI-native finance managed services business. We embed inside high-growth ANZ companies and run their finance function — better, at lower cost, with technology at the core. We own the SLA and the outcome. Not the hours.
This is a foundational hire. The CFO we bring in now will shape how we deliver, build our people, and scale.
The Role
You'll lead one or more client pods, owning the full finance function for each client. Where a client has no internal finance leader, you step in as their CFO — board meetings, financial narrative, the lot. Where they do, you run operations alongside their team.
As the business grows, this role evolves into Head of Delivery and CFO, with accountability across all pods, methodology, and Finance Director development.
What You'll Do
- Own client pod delivery end-to-end — quality, relationship, commercial outcomes
- Drive engagements through the Discover, Transform and Operate phases
- Act as a CFO equivalent for clients without internal senior finance leadership
- Develop Finance Directors into capable, independent operators
- Evolve the delivery methodology and workflow IP as we learn
What We're Looking For
- CA/CPA qualified with real depth across reporting, management accounting and FP&A
- Proven track record of personally leading a finance transformation
- Strong executive presence — credible with CFOs, CEOs and boards
- Experience managing and developing finance professionals
- Fluency with cloud accounting, automation and modern reporting tools
- Ability to operate without structure and create your own direction
