Business Operations Manager – Growth & Partnerships
Experience: 5–6 Years Industry: IT Services Location: India (Pune, All Days Work from Office)
Reports to: Client Partner (Strategic Partner Relationship)
Role Purpose
This role sits at the heart of the growth and deal execution engine, working closely with Client Partners and leadership teams to convert conversations into qualified opportunities and executed deals.
The role goes beyond coordination and tracking. The incumbent will actively participate in client interactions, proposal responses, solution shaping, and account research, while ensuring strong execution discipline across all active business threads.
Objective: Drive deal velocity, execution clarity, and growth momentum ensuring no opportunity, action item, or decision is missed.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage multiple parallel opportunity and business threads across partners and accounts
- Maintain a single source of truth for opportunity status, next steps, owners, risks, and dependencies
- Support client-facing interactions by preparing briefs, capturing requirements, and documenting outcomes
- Participate in proposal responses (RFPs / RFIs / proactive proposals) and solution articulation
- Research client accounts, industries, and competitive landscapes to strengthen deal context
- Work closely with Practice Leaders, Delivery, RMG, Pre-Sales, Finance, and Leadership teams
- Prepare post-meeting summaries, track actions to closure, and proactively manage follow-ups
- Support preparation of business cases for hiring, rebadging, pricing, contracting, and financial approvals
- Assist Client Partners with pipeline hygiene, reviews, and executive dashboards
Must Have Skills
- 5–6 years of experience in IT Services organizations. B.E., MBA By Qualification.
- Experience in Business Development support, Pre-Sales, Business Analysis roles
- Strong understanding of IT services sales lifecycle and opportunity management
- Ability to work across multiple internal teams and senior stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High ownership mindset with strong follow-through and attention to detail
Desirable / Good to Have Skills
- Business Analyst background, analytical orientation, business case preparation
- Experience supporting global clients (US / Europe)
- Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as HubSpot
