Role Overview
The CFO will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization across all geographies. This includes global statutory compliance, financial reporting, consolidation of accounts, business finance, and strategic financial planning. The role demands strong leadership, international finance expertise, and IPO readiness experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy aligned with business goals
- Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and Board on growth, investments, and risk management
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, and long-term budgeting processes
2. Global Financial Operations
- Oversee global finance operations, ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Manage preparation of standalone and consolidated financial statements
- Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
3. Statutory Compliance & Taxation
- Ensure compliance with local statutory laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements in all jurisdictions
- Oversee global tax planning, filings, and optimization strategies
- Coordinate with local auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies
4. Business Finance & Performance Management
- Monitor and drive P&L performance across business lines and geographies
- Establish robust MIS, dashboards, and financial analytics for decision-making
- Identify cost optimization and revenue enhancement opportunities
5. ESOP & Capital Structuring
- Design and implement Employee Stock Option Plans (ESOPs)
- Manage cap table, valuation, and equity structuring
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to ESOPs
6. IPO Readiness & Investor Relations
- Lead IPO preparedness including financial restructuring, governance, and compliance
- Work with investment bankers, legal advisors, and auditors
- Build and manage relationships with investors, analysts, and stakeholders
7. Risk Management & Governance
- Establish internal controls, audit processes, and risk mitigation frameworks
- Ensure corporate governance standards are maintained across all entities
- Oversee internal and external audits
8. Team Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing global finance team
- Drive process standardization and automation across finance functions
- Mentor and develop finance leaders across regions
Qualifications & Experience
- Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification
- 15–25 years of progressive finance leadership experience
- Proven experience managing global finance operations across multiple countries
- Strong understanding of international accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP)
- Experience with ESOP implementation and IPO processes is highly preferred
- Background in workforce management, staffing, or services industry is a plus
