Job Description
Job Summary:
- We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Communication Engineer (Vlocity Dev) to help design, build, and implement scalable solutions within the Salesforce Communications Cloud (Vlocity) platform.
- This role will focus on enabling end to end digital experiences for customers in the telecom sector through product configuration, guided selling, and order management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Platform Development
- Develop and customize components using OmniStudio tools (FlexCards, OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures, Vlocity Cards).
- Implement and optimize Industry specific CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) processes, including product catalogs, pricing logic, and rules.
- Configure and enhance Enterprise Product Catalog (EPC) and Order Management processes to streamline service activation and delivery.
Integration & Data Management
- Integrate Communication Cloud with external systems (e.g., OSS/BSS, billing, ERP) using Salesforce APIs, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures.
- Ensure seamless data flow and synchronization between Salesforce and telecom backend systems.
Collaboration & Support
- Work with business analysts, product owners, and architects to translate business requirements into scalable technical designs.
- Participate in code reviews, QA testing, and deployment planning.
- Support production environments by troubleshooting issues and implementing long term fixes.
