We are seeking a Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to drive Open iT's next stage of growth. This executive will have overall responsibility for all revenue-generating functions, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Partnerships, with an immediate focus on leading the global sales organization.
The CRO will provide both strategic vision and hands-on leadership, ensuring revenue targets are met while building scalable processes to support long-term growth. This role is designed with a clear transition in mind: initially working alongside our current VP of Sales, and eventually assuming direct leadership of the global sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue Leadership
- Own company-wide revenue targets, reporting directly to the CEO.
- Align sales, marketing, and customer success under a unified revenue strategy.
- Sales Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and grow the global sales organization.
- Oversee pipeline development, deal execution, and account expansion.
- Ensure best practices in enterprise sales processes, metrics, and forecasting.
- Strategic Growth & Partnerships
- Define and execute go-to-market strategies for new markets and geographies.
- Shape pricing models, packaging, and commercial terms to maximize revenue.
- Strengthen partnerships, including positioning Open iT as a ServiceNow Partner and FinOps integrator.
- Customer Success Alignment
- Ensure customer success and retention efforts are directly tied to revenue growth.
- Partner with services and support teams to enhance customer lifetime value.
- Marketing Integration
- Work closely with marketing to generate high-quality leads and improve brand positioning.
Align campaigns with sales execution to shorten cycles and increase win rates.
Qualifications
- Proven success in a CRO, SVP, or VP Sales role in B2B software/SaaS, ideally in enterprise IT, engineering software, or related industries.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in sales and revenue leadership, with at least 5 years at the executive level.
- Demonstrated ability to scale revenue globally.
- Strong track record of building, leading, and mentoring international sales teams.
- Experience in aligning sales, marketing, and customer success into a unified growth engine.
- Background in FinOps, IT Financial Management, or IT Operations (e.g., ServiceNow ecosystem) is a strong plus.
- Data-driven, analytical, and comfortable with performance metrics.
