Role Overview
We are hiring a
business-first, deal-savvy Head of Finance — not a back-office finance leader.
This Leader Will
- Partner directly with CEO, COO, Sales, Engineering and Research
- Structure complex enterprise agreements
- Negotiate cloud/GPU contracts
- Build institutional-grade financial infrastructure
- Oversee audit readiness and treasury strategy
- Lead a high throughpout, high-leverage finance team
The role combines Strategic Finance, Commercial Finance, Infrastructure Economics, and Financial Operations.

Enterprise Deal Structuring & Commercial PartnershipPartner with Sales on multi-year enterprise agreementsModel custom pricing, usage commitments, and rev-share structuresDeliver <24-hour turnaround on enterprise deal modelingEnsure ASC 606 compliance across complex agreementsTrack committed backlog and revenue waterfall Compute Contract Negotiation & OptimizationNegotiate AWS/GCP/Azure committed use agreementsStructure reserved capacity and co-location contractsEvaluate AMD/NVIDIA partnershipsDrive 20–40% compute cost optimization where possibleIntegrate GPU utilization forecasting into financial models

- Strategic Finance & Planning
- Own rolling 18-month financial model
- Develop unit economics (cost per generation, LTV:CAC by segment)
- Build investor-grade board reporting
- Drive scenario planning (growth vs. path to profitability)
- Support M&A and strategic partnership evaluation
- Financial Infrastructure & Controls
- Implement 5-day close
- Establish audit-ready financials
- Lead Big 4 audit relationship
- Oversee automation-first accounting systems
- Maintain investor-ready diligence materials
- Treasury & Capital Strategy
- Optimize cash position
- Develop investment policy
- Maintain 18+ month runway visibility - proactive fund raise readiness
- Manage FX exposure
Required Experience Profile
We are targeting a high-caliber operator with:
10–15+ years progressive finance experience5+ years at late-stage startup (Series C or beyond)Demonstrated enterprise deal structuring experienceDirect negotiation experience with cloud/infrastructure vendors (strongly preferred)Strong technical accounting foundation (CPA preferred but not required)Experience with usage-based billing modelsTrack record scaling ARR from <$20M toward $100M+Executive presence and board-facing communication skills
