About the Organisation
Viking Food Solutions is a leading provider of food processing equipment and packaging solutions for Australian food businesses. Originally established in 1976, the company has evolved into a dynamic, market-leading, family-owned business. Headquartered in Epping Victoria since 2013—with recent expansions in NSW, WA, and QLD—the company now boasts a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility featuring multiple converting and printing lines. With consistently strong growth and healthy profitability, and now with increased warehouse and manufacturing capacity, the Board is focused on corporatising the business structure to support its next phase of growth. This includes exploring strategic merger and acquisition opportunities and potential private equity investment, positioning Viking Food Solutions for long-term success.
About the Role
This is a rare opportunity to step into the inaugural Chief Financial Officer position and shape the financial future of a thriving, family-owned business poised for transformation. Reporting directly to the CEO and Board, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial strategy and business scalability. Leading a small finance team, you will partner closely with the broader business, embedding financial acumen across the organisation. You will drive improvements in financial systems, processes, and controls to support scalability, strengthen inventory and cost management, and enhance divisional reporting to provide clear insights for decision-making. The role will also involve exploring strategic merger and acquisition opportunities, conducting due diligence, and providing trusted financial advice to the family owners. As the business grows, your remit will expand to include HR and IT, further cementing your leadership impact.
About You
